With RYK Modular's Vector Wave, you can add the full power of polyphonic, 16-oscillator FM or Vector synthesis to your rack with a gorgeous retro-style pixel display. No need to add extra envelopes or VCAs to the chain—the Vector Wave is capable of functioning as a full voice with built-in envelopes, LFOs, and assignable modulation destinations. The core of the sound is built around 16 oscillators divided into four banks, all of which can be routed in series, parallel, and for use in making complex FM or additive synth tones.

It's hard to have a Vector synth without a joystick, and so RYK's Vector Wave delivers with a small joystick that can morph between oscillator banks, and the movement can be recorded. You can't miss the retro pixel screen that is designed to be highly legible while offering a whisper of nostalgia. The Vector Wave can be set up in three different modes: monophonic vector, polyphonic FM voice, and multitimbral polyphonic FM. To access the polyphony, a 3.5mm MIDI port is available that registers velocity, aftertouch, and MIDI CC data.
