Create ADSR and AD envelopes, cycling AD LFOs, random voltages both smooth and stepped, and even recordable knob gestures for direct creation of your own expressive gestures. From there, adjust parameters like polarity and depth, add modulation to your modulation, and even self-patch to derive more complex behaviors, unlocking a world of patching possibilities and modulatory precision.

Envy Machine uses a simple interface to navigate its many modulation options. The LED bars in line with each of the four knob controls give crucial color and size feedback about mode type and parameter settings for each channel, with the ability to cycle through channels by pressing the blue CH button. When controlling each channel, the main page for your chosen mode gives you control over its core parameters like attack and decay times, offset, and scaling. Holding CH and pressing the OPT, or option button, selects between the five modulation modes. With a channel selected, the OPT switch also gives you deeper parameters for modulation destination and attenuversion, waveshape control, and output level attenuversion. On the main page of each channel, you can also record and playback knob motion, quickly creating complex signal shapes.
