The Rupert Neve Designs Shelford channel strip incorporates many Rupert Neve staples alongside a few new goodies into a powerful and affordable channel strip module. The Shelford is built around a brand new transformer-gain, class-A microphone preamp, but also includes the inductor EQ section from the 5052, a diode bridge compressor, Silk saturation circuitry, and a dual-tap transformer output stage. Combined, this results in exceptionally smooth low and high frequencies with low noise and remarkable isolation. The microphone preamplifier section even features a sweepable high-pass filter (20-250Hz), as well as 48V Phantom Power, and polarity reverse.
