The NTG2 from Rode is professional quality lightweight condenser shotgun microphone designed for a variety of film, video, and production applications. The full frequency response and low noise of the microphone provide a great level of acoustic transparency make it a great choice for detailed sound recording, while its lightweight nature renders it a perfect solution as a boom mic. Conveniently, the mic features a switchable high-pass filter at 80Hz to help remove all sorts of low rumble while recording outside. The microphone is powered either by a AA battery or phantom power supplied from a camera or other recording device. The package also includes a WSVM wind-shield to help minimaize wind noise and plosives.
