NT2-A from Rode builds on the excellence of the company’s classic NT-2. It features a large 1" capsule and a set of three-position switches for pickup pattern, high-pass filter, and pad settings. NT2-A’s frequency and transient responses were tweaked and adjusted to fit modern recording needs, although the original warm tonal quality of its predecessor is carefully retained. In the package with the mic, you’ll find an assortment of useful accessories, including a shock-mount, a pop filter, a dust cover, and an XLR cable.
