Rides in the Storm QEG

Providing loads of shaping and modulation to your modular system, the QEG by Rides in the Storm is a quad envelope generator with looping functionality and multiple outputs. Expanding upon the fantastic FEG, the QEG features the same ADSR shape accepting trigger or gate signals as well as sporting a manual button for performative means. Decide whether the envelope fires as a one-shot or loops to create complex unipolar LFOs, and dual outputs allow for both positive and negative signals to be available simultaneously. The timing of stages is determined via the F/S button as well as the S/F 1V CV input, stretching the time of stages ranging from 0.2ms to 24 seconds.

The QEG not only multiplies the count of envelopes found in the FEG, but it also introduces a multitude of trigger and gate outputs as well as a summed envelope outputs. Each envelope corresponds to four different trigger outputs based on different stages of the envelope, and the E/B button within each envelope corresponds to triggering the end of rise and forcing it to the beginning of attack. This not only provides tons of trigger source for clocking or rhythmically triggering audio or modulation elements, but it can also be a great way to self patch some interesting and continued modulation, utilizing up to all four elements out of the mix output.

Whether you're in need of a ton of envelopes or looking for a quite sophisticated and independent modulation source, the QEG will make any modular system come to life.
