Radial Engineering Twin Servo 500 Series Microphone Preamp
Using the famous JE-990 circuit, the Twin-Servo from Radial Engineering uses two 100% discrete 990 op-amps for huge headroom and very little distortion. Developed with the Jensen team, the Twin-Servo faithfully recreates Deane Jensen's original microphone amplifier design. By removing the capacitors and replacing them with two servos, two op-amps, and two Jensen transformers, phase shifting is eliminated and a frequency response of 0.5Hz–150kHz is reached. The front panel has several handy features such as a phase inverter for use when using two Twin-Servos on a stereo mic pair. As well as a high pass filter, pad, and phantom power switches. Additionally, when using Radial's Workhorse 500 series power rack's Omniport, you get access to an additional instrument line input. Capable of handling anything you throw at it, the Twin Servo 500 series preamp is a perfect addition to your rack.
