Prism Sound Titan

Brilliance and clarity come naturally to Prism Sound's Titan, an 18-channel audio interface supporting loads of analog and digital options coupled with pristine clocking and dynamics. The front panel sports a fantastic metering solution with view and control over sync, input selection, leveling, per-channel overkill limiting, and a wonderful master volume knob that acts as a push encoder for navigating your Titan's user interface. Additionally, you have immediate access to the first two audio channels in the form of instrument preamps via TS 1/4" jacks, as well as two independent TRS 1/4" headphone outputs with individual level control.

On the rear of Titan, you will find an array of I/O and connectivity to fit a variety of audio operations. These include four combo XLR/TRS 1/4" inputs that can act as preamps for microphones or line level sources, with a fantastic dynamic range of 116dB, a total harmonic distortion of -117dB, and switchable input sensitivity of either +4dBu or -10dBV. This versatility is great for recording any number of instruments or sources at the perfect level with low noise. On top of having an additional four line level inputs, both the mic and instrument preamps have an abundance of gain, reaching up to 65dB over 1dB increments. You also have eight analog outputs for monitoring, creating send and return setups, or whatever your output needs desire with a dynamic range of 115dB and total harmonic distortion of -107dB.

Titan records and produces transparent and sample-accurate audio over digital means by supporting up to eight channels over ADAT as well as 2 channels over S/PDIF, thanks to the RCA and TOSLINK ports. Access the hidden AES3 operation via the included RCA-XLR adaptor, or even sync your gear or your Titan over Wordclock via the BNC connection. Connecting to your Mac or PC's DAW is easy and fast over the USB type-B connection, and further expansion with a Pro Tools HD or Dante system can be adjusted with the supplementary Prism Sound cards available for purchase.

For even more control over your Titan's routing, gain staging, and connectivity, Prism Sound provides a Titan Controller applet that makes setting up and customizing your Titan a cinch. The available and proprietary Verifile software component even furthers the stability by checking for clicks, errors and drop outs without any compromise, making it to where you get the perfect recording and streaming experience.
