Presonus PRM-1

The PRM1 from PreSonus is a precision reference microphone that provides accurate reproduction of a room's sonic characteristics for use with an audio-analysis tool. It features a 1/4" pre-polarized electret-condenser capsule and an omnidirectional polar pattern. The flat frequency response neither boosts nor cuts any frequencies in the 20Hz-20kHz frequency range, capturing them equally. The narrow dynamic range is best suited for test applications such as pink noise at a fixed level to test a sound system's performance. Use the microphone with audio analysis tools such as Smaart System Check that comes included with PreSonus' UC Surface control for StudioLive AI and StudioLive RM mixers. If you need an accurate analysis of a room's reflections and sonic characteristics, look no further than the PRM1.
