Now available as a standalone device, the Dirty-DC from Pope Audio is the same circuit as their beloved 500 series RE-501 recreation with a few extra tricks, but still packed with plenty of lofi goodness. Using the same MN-3007 BBD chip as the original, you get a wonderfully woozy chorus, vibrato and ring mod along with the pseudo-stereo output—full dry against full wet. Use the balanced back-mounted connections or the front unbalanced instrument inputs and plug in an expression pedal for dynamic control over the speed. A perfect piece to add to your studio desk and next track, the Dirty-DC from Pope Audio gives you the vintage sound in a compact and cheaper package.
