Possibly the most fully-featured yet compact filter module ever devised, Plum Audio's ADVA 1U is a multimode analog filter boasting impressive digital control and interfacing, all packed into a 1U Eurorack module. With a signal path that's completely analog from start to finish, ADVA makes use of Plum Audio's ClickKnobs and some digital control wizardy for a highly compact control interface. Concentric pots for stacked controls with push-button functionality give you three parameters in one knob—talk about bringing new meaning to knob-per-function! Use the upper controls to set filter Cutoff, Resonance, and level for the internal Noise generator, while the lower controls set Input and Output levels, as well as the amount of modulation passed in from the FM input. Tap the knob in the middle to scroll between the seven different filter modes, and explore all the ways that ADVA can shape your sounds.
