Pittsburgh Lifeforms Primary Oscillator B
Lifeforms Primary Oscillator B, from Pittsburgh Modular, is an all-analog VCO with individual outputs for blade, fragments, pulse, saw, sine, and timbre. The module makes use of cascading processing to achieve inherently complex waveforms that respond deliciously to modulation of all varieties. The sine wave features a dedicated harmonic switch that does just what it promises: introduces more harmonics. Thanks to its intrinsic network of wave shapers, Lifeforms Primary Oscillator provides characterful harmonically-rich results. Additional sculpting options are available for the blade, fragments, and timbre outputs, giving users plenty of options in regards to sound design.

Pittsburgh Primary Oscillator With Cloak & Dagger Filter
For this video we made a synth voice with the Pittsburgh Modular Primary Oscillator and the Conjured Circuits Cloak & Dagger as VCF and VCA. We used the "timbre" output of the Primary Oscillator which is either a sine or triangle wave run through a wavefolder. The Cloak & Dagger is an ARP 2600 style VCF with overdrive before and after the filter. Everything is sequenced by the Eloquencer, the LDB2 and expander create the drums, Rampage is an envelope and LFO, and everything is mixed with an Intellijel Quad VCA.
