Merging two effects into one ethereal modulation pedal, the Pigtronix Moon Pool is a so-called Tremvelope Phaser combining phase shifting and tremolo with dynamic envelope responsiveness. Moon Pool's four-stage phaser design and variable bias tremolo would be valuable on their own, but the unique, swirling possibilities available from combining them together opens up new worlds of sonic expression. Engage one or both effects using the central toggle switch, then use the four knobs above to dial in their characteristics and interactivity. The Phaser and Tremolo feature independent Speed controls, while a shared knob sets the Depth of both. The rate of both effects can be modulated by a dynamic envelope, tracking the volume of your playing, with its Sensitivity control defining how receptive it is to input level. For further flexibility, you also define the direction in which the envelope modulates each effect independently, either increasing or decreasing its modulation rate.
