With the Infinity 2, Pigtronix has crafted a compelling dual looper pedal in a compact package, offering abundant musical opportunities despite its streamlined interface. With stereo audio I/O, you're easily able to loop your guitars, synths, and other instruments into ambient bliss via Infinity 2. By default, each looper is available via the two footswitches, with one loop able to be actively playing back at a time. The initial loop length is set by recording the first loop, and its length is synchronized with the other for A/B song structures or complementary motifs. With the Decay knob, you can allow your loop to slowly or abruptly fade away to silence upon each cycle, with the general loop level set by the Volume control.

Infinity 2 becomes vastly more interesting by enabling one of the optional internal effects on the left footswitch. Not to be confused with distortion or reverb-type effects, Infinity 2 offers looper effects for more adventurous ways of interacting with recorded phrases. Undo mode allows you to remove and reintroduce layers, Octave jumps between full or half-speed playback, Once mode allows for stutter effects or one-shot loop playback, and Stop will end playback at the loop boundary with a single tap or immediately with a double-tap.
