Pigtronix Gloamer

Blurring the lines between effect and synthesizer, the Pigtronix Gloamer is a luscious volume swell effect with a bonus optical compressor and attack decay envelope. Despite what you might think, Gloamer is a totally analog design, turning guitar or any other instrument into a sustaining, synth pad-like sound, with notes fading in as set by the Attack control. Mix between dry and effect signals with the Blend control, allowing the Gloamer to subtly accompany sustained chords or overtake notes with a slow-rising wash. Smooth out your signal with the onboard optical compressor, easily dialed in with the single but powerful Compression knob. Gloamer may even be used as an asymmetrical tremolo effect by engaging the Decay feature, allowing for cycling and pulsating tones so long as an input signal is present.
