The class-A design features an all-discrete signal path with no op-amps or VCAs for classic performance and sound. Adjust the amount of compression using the ratio control. Use the attack control to set how long it takes for the compressor to affect the signal and the release to set how long the compressor lasts. Adjust the level of the signal passing into the compressor, the signal coming out of the compressor, and then blend the dry signal back in for parallel compression. The classic jewel lamp indicates the gain reduction metering with three colors to indicate reduction.
