The Cali76 Bass Compressor from Origin Effects is a pedal compressor tailored for bass guitar and other low-frequency instruments. Based on the classic 1176, the FET-based compressor features a class-A all-discrete signal path with no integrated circuits or op-amps. It features extremely low noise operation with high headroom and dynamic range specifically designed for low-frequency content.

Tailor the amount of compression with the ratio knob. A single knob controls both the attack and release parameters, giving a continuous sweep of sweet spots. The included high pass filter sits in the compressor's level detection path, letting the compressor act on high frequencies while the low notes pass with little compression. A separate dry level control allows for fantastic sounding parallel compression in addition to the independent input and output level controls. Get direct visual feedback of the gain reduction with the classic jewel lamp light with three colors of indication. Use the pedal with power supplies from 9–18V with additional headroom present with higher supply voltages.
