Novation Launchkey 49 Mk3
The Launchkey 49 Mk3 is a four-octave MIDI controller in the Launchkey Series intended for use with Ableton Live, providing hands-on control of all the most important aspects of your sessions. The 49-key velocity-sensitive keyboard is responsive and playable. 16 RGB backlit velocity-sensitive pads can be used for inputting notes or selecting parameters within your track. Nine sliders and eight rotary encoders can be configured to control your most used parameters such as panning, levels, and effects sends.
Three chord modes make playing chords as easy as playing a single key. The onboard arpeggiator can provide inspiration for melodies through its simple but powerful interface. Scale mode transposes all the keys and pads to a specific key, making playing in tune convenient and fun. The capture MIDI functionality makes sure you never lose a good idea.
Connect to other MIDI gear with the full-size 5-pin DIN MIDI output. Four custom modes allow the Launchkey Mk3 to be configured to any setup. Bundled with the Launchkey Mk3 is a suite of software including Ableton Live Lite, XLN Addictive Keys, and more. Although designed with Ableton Live in mind, the controller is compatible with many other DAWs, making it a useful tool in anyone's studio.
