Foundation by Noise Reap is a beast of a bass drum module rooted in the classic techniques of drum synthesis. Imitating an acoustic kick drum, Foundation provides multiple controls and control voltage inputs for sculpting the perfect electronic kick. Natural imperfections like variation in pitch and decay are replicated through Foundation's Nudge and Ring CV inputs, respectively. More drastic measures can be taken with 1V per octave tuning to use your drum for melodies and basses.

Foundation's analog circuitry is complemented by the help of the Texture knob, providing digital algorithms to replicate the dustier mids and highs heard in a traditional kick. The Damping knob allows for further shaping, providing access to softer, quieter sounds. Besides its main output, Foundation also provides a sine tone, a direct noise output from the Texture knob, and an envelope based on the Ring knob. Versatile and customizable, Noise Reap's Foundation is a wonderful source of thumping goodness.
