Noise Lab Wrinkler

The Noise Lab Wrinkler is a modern reinterpretation of the analog waveshaper with several notable and unique features. Traditional waveshapers are intended to add overtones to a spectrally sparse signal, such as a triangle or sine wave. The Wrinkler is more than capable of achieving that effect, but what sets this module apart from others waveshapers is that it can fold any signal at its input, including pulse waves, a class of signals typically considered more or less unfoldable!

Three CV inputs with dedicated attenuators allow you to dial in the timbre of your choosing, while two unique outputs produce the folded signal and a harsh, metallic, "squarified" copy of the same. Furthermore, Wrinkler's dedicated Dry Level control allows you to mix into both outputs a buffered copy of the pre-shaped signal, preserving the fundamental tone even in the midst of dramatic timbral shaping. With its set of unique features and options for tonal control, the Wrinkler is truly a wavefolder unlike any other.
