Noise Engineering Sinc Pravus
Noise Engineering's Sinc Pravus is an elegant solution to offset generation, for it is capable of both static DC voltages and shifting external CV signals up or down. Each of the four channels sports an input, output, and bipolar offset control, plus an LED indicator for signal monitoring. Leave an input unpatched, and Sinc Pravus will spit out a constant voltage from its outputs. Alternatively, run a bipolar LFO into an input and shift it up or down into a unipolar range—or vice versa. Best of all, the four inputs normalize downward, so you can apply different offsets to the same signal. Sinc Pravus might not seem like the most glamorous of modules, but Noise Engineering understands that utility modules like this are what get veteran patchers excited.
Sinc Pravus Features
- Four-channel offset generator
- Rear switches select between +/- 5 or 10 volts
- LED indicator for polarity
- Inputs normalize downward
- Generates DC offsets when inputs are not used
- Eurorack module
- Width: 4hp
- Depth: 22.9mm
- Current draw: 50mA @ +12V, 50mA @ -12V
Each of Sinc Pravus’s four channels are controlled by a dedicated potentiometer with an LED for monitoring signal outputs. The input jacks are normalled from top to bottom so it can offset the same signal by different amounts or simply act as a mult.
