Emerald is an analog OTA compressor from Neural Devices that packs a whole lot of functionality into a small housing. Compressors offer a great way for seasoned guitarists and bassists to expand their sonic possibilities and with the Emerald, you get high quality analog compression at a great price and small enough for any pedalboard. A carefully designed envelope circuit accurately engages the compressor according to the attack and release settings. Using the Blend will get you the perfect dynamic range. Ratio and Threshold will give you a more expanded effect while the Brite switch will engage a high cut, to prevent any harshness from exploding. As with all Neural Devices pedals, Latching and Momentary foot switch modes are available. Emerald is a gem of a compressor that is perfect if you are looking for a smooth, analog OTA compressor.
