Nekyia Circuits Wand
Wand from Nekiya Circuits brings a time-tested voltage processor to a compact form factor, deftly shaping signals for a wide range of applications from arcane audio to magical modulation manipulation. Based on the simple yet profound design found in the esteemed Buchla 257, Wand combines a voltage-controlled crossfader, attenuverter, and a DC offset generator. These three utilities are summed together at the output, providing a deep well of voltage manipulation to explore.
The top two inputs provide entrance for two signals, audio or CV, with the middle-left input acting as a VCA which controls the crossfader mix, responding to +/-5V signals. An additional VCA CV input is also available, with a range of 0-10V, ensuring a place for Wand when paired with virtually any modulation source. The Y input allows you to inject another external signal, which can be both scaled and inverted with the attenuverter control. Finally, a bipolar offset generator is available with a switchable range between +/-5V or 0-10V using a jumper on the back, allowing you to bring negative signals created by the sum of the first two blocks back into positive territory.
Like any useful utility, Wand provides a swiss-army knife of control useful for simple processing when you just need a bit of attenuation or that extra VCA. Likewise, it provides a uniquely capable modulation mixer for complex control. Whatever your patching preferences, Wand from Nekiya Circuits exudes all the wide-ranging capability of the classic circuit it takes inspiration from, and especially given its compact size… you might want two!

It's been a pleasure to check out the existing modules and to use those alongside the new ones here. As always the focus is to provide ideas and techniques while demonstrating how things work. So I hope you can take some of the patches to try out.
