A dedicated MIDI thru button allows the unit to function without a computer with no cable realignment required! 

Because the Fast Lane was engineered specifically for USB proficiency, it allows for hot-swapping, pristine timing accuracy, and expansion options. Other Fast Lanes and multi-port USB devices can be connected via USB hub.
