Modal Electronics Skulpt SE

Loaded with a bunch of new sounds and a fresh new look, the Skulpt SE from Modal Electronics is a compact 4-voice virtual analog synthesizer that offers incredible versatility for an instrument of its size. The new SE version is fully backwards compatible with the original, so the existing pool of sounds can be loaded into the Skulpt SE for immediate usage. Each voice provides 8 oscillators to the user, thus containing a total of 32 oscillators that may be grouped and stacked accordingly in its unison, duophonic, and polyphonic modes. The oscillators offer two selectable waveforms, with the ability to morph between them to shape new sounds, and the option to apply FM, ring mod, PWM, and more.

Two LFOs, three envelope generators, and an eight slot mod matrix provide the means to build incredibly interactive patches, and the 128-note sequencer also supports up to four channels of parameter control. And if that's not enough, the Modal App provides a tactile way to clearly access every parameter via a tablet or phone, or load it into your DAW as a plugin. It might be small, but the full-sized sounds of the Skulpt SE are no joke.
