MMI Modular Two Nine Five

MMI Modular has brought a wonderful taste of Buchla to the Eurorack world with their Two Nine Five ten-band fixed filter bank: a modern recreation of the Buchla Model 295. Perfect for shaping complex sounds and waveshapes, the Two Nine Five's center frequencies are chosen to complement the discrimination curve of the human ear. That being said, for a more personal and unique experience, you can tune each frequency and gain on the back of the module via trimpots.

Shape your incoming signal and monitor from the Sum output, or make use of each band individually by utilizing their correlating outputs. Each of the ten center frequencies are 180 degrees out of phase with one another, providing even more interest and frequency shaping to the resulting timbre. For even further processing, accompany the Two Nine Five with the MMI Modular Scandeck with a mini ribbon cable on the back of the modules for less cable clutter and access to scannable VCAs per frequency center.
