LEM, or Lysergic Emotions Module, from Mastro Valvola, is a multi-head delay pedal with eight modes, perfect for ambient experimentation and dynamic soundscapes. The breadth of features and modes makes it easy to get lost in the pedal—often leading to unexpected results that captivate and hypnotize the user. Set the delay time with the delay knob and tap tempo footswitch. The feedback controls the amount of repeats. Control the volume of both the wet and dry signals to get the perfect mix. Select between eight delay types, each with a special, algorithm-dependent control. Modes include reverse delay, LFO reverse with depth, LFO reverse with filter, multi-tap delay with wow and flutter, low octave shimmer, lo-fi spatial ambiance with bitcrusher, multi-head delay with forward and reverse, and shimmer delay with bit crusher.

The footswitch features either latching or momentary modes, plus optional trails using the timed bypass system, allowing the reverb to decay naturally when the effect turns off. Use the CTRL input with expression pedals, external tap switches, or even with CV with a 0–5V range. The LEM features four preset slots, which saves all panel controls for easy recall of your favorite sounds.
