Manley Massive Passive

Offering unbeatable sonic-sculpting with a multitude of shapes and sizes, the Manley Massive Passive Stereo EQ is a completely passive, two-channel parametric equalizer that utilizes clean frequency balancing with tube-powered amplification. Each channel of the Massive Passive features four bands with distinct frequency ranges, each showcasing eleven possible frequencies that represent the low, low-mid, high-mid, and high bands found in traditional equalizers. Each band can be shaped as a bell or shelf to their respective frequency ranges, showcasing variable bandwidth for both shapes as well as +/-20dB sculpting range. Additionally, each band can be disengaged making room for your signal path to be less cluttered and unaffected.

In the middle section, the Massive Passive features control over the entire unit's power, each channel's engage toggle, channel gain, and additional channel low and high pass filters. These filters each offer quite steep cut-off slope of 18dB/oct with five possible frequency centers per filter. The low pass filter is a bit more unique in its design with two of the five frequency centers changing its slope, featuring a 24dB/oct slope at 12kHz and a brick-wall-like massive slope of 60dB/oct at 18kHz to cut out miscellaneous highs. Massive Passive's gain knobs can apply extra level if needed but are more-so there for matching levels to your previously unprocessed signal.

The all-passive EQ design utilizing metal film resistors, film capacitors, and hand-wound inductors bring an organic nature to your sound, while the high-voltage vacuum tube amplification gives you insane amounts of headroom to flex and fill out your sound. The Manley Massive Passive Stereo EQ is a versatile and tone-sculpting tool that compliments any sound as well as any studio.
