Manifold Research Centre Tetragrid
Inspired by the philosophies of instruments from Ciat-Lonbarde and Meng Qi, Manifold Research Centre's Tetragrid is a one-of-a-kind "anti-sequencer" utilizing a magnetic pin matrix interface. If you've ever used Peter Blasser's Plumbutter, Rollzer, or Rollz-5, some of the behaviors of the Tetragrid may be familiar to you. At its core, there are six LFOs which may be cross-modulated through the magnetic touch points. While two of the LFOs offer a tempo control, the other four are totally free-running, and entirely shaped by how they're patched together. The smallest adjustments may bring about the most radical of changes, with organic behavior and idiosyncrasies occurring in the circuit until stabilization occurs—if it ever does! Let go of control and embrace the unpredictable with Tetragrid, and engage in the game between human and machine.
