Malekko Heavy Industry Richter Dual Borg

The Malekko Heavy Industry Richter series updates the legendary Wiard 300 series to the realm of Eurorack modular synthesizers.

The Richter Dual Borg is a combination of the original Borg I and Borg II modules into a single capable audio processor influenced by two different sources: the Buchla 292 LPG and Korg MS20 filter.

The core of the Dual Borg is a vactrol, which grants the sounds processed through it a characteristically rubbery quality with a naturally slow (and extremely musical) decay. This comes in handy when the module is in VCA mode, where it simultaneously behaves as a VCA and filter for the creation of short, percussive sounds.

By switching on the Resonance knob, the Dual Borg becomes a 12dB filter with a characteristic shriek similar to that of the MS20. The module is continually adjustable from low-pass to high-pass, features two audio inputs and two CV inputs. Additionally, there are two outputs, with the second being slightly more aggressive.
