Aside from its 3.5mm outputs for CV and gate, KMNDR uses two LEDs and an IR sensor embedded in the panel to create both a continuous CV signal and gates which you perform by moving your hands towards and away from KMNDR. This provides you theremin-esque control over any parameter in your system, and lets you fire off drum hits and clock pulses with simple hand movements.
