The Kemper Profiler PowerHead is a power amp imbued with a digital processor that can analyze and model the behavior of real-world amp and head combinations. It is able to reproduce the tone of any amp with all of the original charm and idiosyncracies intact. By using this amp, guitarists can reach maximum portability by digitizing (“profiling”) their setups: imagine being able to take every amp and cabinet on the road, and to change rigs entirely with the press of a button.

The Profiler Remote is a foot controller designed for interfacing with the Profiler series. The Remote offers an easy-to-see display and simple layout that allows users to program easily . The Remote utilizes five switches and an internal bank system that allows for quick and easy recall of amplifier/cabinet profiles. There are also dedicated buttons to access the Profiler’s tuner, tap tempo, and a looper effect.

• Amp Definition parameter determines whether the Profile leans more towards a vintage or modern character - increasing this parameter intensifies the touch response of the virtual tubes.
• Power Sagging parameter lets the tubes breathe with individual playing styles - damped strings will have more "chug," and clean picked notes will cut through better when the playing volume is reduced.
• Pick parameter controls the attack of the pick independently of the gain setting, even through heavy distortion.
• Amp Compressor will sustain the clean guitar when playing soft, but lets the distorted sound through, unprocessed, when reverting back to normal playing volume.
• Cabinet Voicing parameters provide access to the character of the cabinet - the size of the virtual cabinet can be changed, the bass resonance tuned, or the tonal character controlled in creative ways
