8-GATES from jroo music machines is a standalone or Eurorack compatible converter that lets you trigger the voices in Soma Laboratory's Lyra-8 with your Eurorack sequencer. A simple interface with eight channels of 3.5mm input jacks and output pole pairs alongside a ground pole makes it easy to patch together Eurorack control of each voice in the Lyra-8. In addition to working with the Lyra-8, you can also patch these outputs to the two touch-controlled CV generators on the Soma Pulsar-23.

8-GATES comes with an included 3U 6HP adapter panel, allowing you to use it as a desktop standalone unit or nest it snugly into your Eurorack case of choice. To connect to the Lyra-8, alligator clips may be directly connected from 8-GATES to the Lyra-8's metal touch sensors. For a more robust and orderly solution, jroo recommends using the Soma Laboratory Ornament-8 Adapter, which will allow you to make more stable connections with alligator clips at both ends.
