The JAM Pedals Tubedreamer is an overdrive that employs the legendary JRC4558D chip to deliver the classic TS808 overdrive sound. Setting it apart from other clones, Tubedreamer utilizes three diodes for asymmetrical clipping (rather than purely symmetrical clipping), which improves the responsiveness and allows the nuances of your playing to be heard. In addition, the Tubedreamer features a wider gain range than its predecessors, accessed by a toggle switch, and the carefully tuned midrange frequency tone control makes it easy to dial in warm and rich overdriven amp sounds. To overdrive the point home, this is a modern and very welcome update to a classic design.
