Ieaskul F. Mobenthey Fourses
Packing four signature bounds/bounce oscillators into one Eurorack module, the Ieaskul F Mobenthey Fourses is a woven web of chaotic LFOs and sputtery tones. Per the metaphor described by the original IFM text, you can imagine Fourses as equivalent to four bouncing balls in a "greased perspex tube" sharing bounds in their range of movement. Their rate as they move within this tube, or Bounce about, corresponds to the frequency or pitch of oscillation heard at the output. However, each oscillator features its own Bounds inputs, allowing you to selectively warp the "pipe" for that oscillator via an external signal. By changing the Bounds, you affect not only the amplitude but frequency as well, since there is less room to metaphorically bounce within the tube.
As mentioned, the four oscillators of Fourses feature their own Bounce (rate) control, skewing a triangle waveform into a rising or falling ramp when turned either direction, plus a CV input and attenuator. The oscillators feature a range switch ranging from the lowest undulations to piercing hypersonics and everything in between. Each oscillator has its own output, allowing you to tap into the chaotic web at various points to hear each output or patch back into Fourses or other modules. Whether you crave bizarre bleeps and bloops or delightfully unpredictable LFOs, IFM's Fourses has you covered.
