Hungry Robot The Aether
Hungry Robot expands on their Wardenclyffe design principals to create a truly lovely lofi delay with The Aether. Using a PT2399 delay chip at its core, you get a standard delay but with a warmth and saturation that is unique to this particular chip. The Color, Saturation, and Degrade controls give you a special layer of grit and Color changes the voicing between Bright Tape and Warm Analog. With an LFO core, the modulation section of the Aether is similar to the Wardenclyffe's but offers three ways to interact with it: the tap tempo, rate knob, and sync toggle. Dreamy and woozy, The Aether from Hungry Robot is a great lofi delay that will fit into any type of style you're trying to play.
