The VCO Controller from Hikari Instruments is a powerful stand-alone VCO unit, featuring four waveform outputs and a silky-smooth vernier dial for extreme accuracy. This versatile VCO resembles a piece of old-world technology, with a ton of modern features that integrate perfectly into any Eurorack system. It packs a ton into a modest 3.3 x 3.3 inch body, including 4 independent waveform outputs— Saw, Square, Triangle and Sine— all of which are controlled by the main dial on the front, a 1V/Oct 3.5mm input, along with a VCO/LFO switch on the back which flips the frequency range from Oscillator to LFO speeds. VCO mode is capable of a whopping 9 octave range, anywhere from 38Hz up to 8kHz, while the LFO mode brings the cycles all the way down to 0.3Hz to 82Hz.

The VCO Controller isn't just a waveform generator however, it also doubles as an attenuator and CV generator. When a patch cable is connected to the Attenuator input/output on the back, the VCO Controller can attenuate any signal given to it with the front dial. When there is no connection to the Attenuator input, the output becomes a highly accurate CV generator, also controlled by the front knob, perfect for controlling multiple parameters across your Eurorack system.
