From HEDD, the Type 20 Mk2 is a three-way active nearfield monitor loaded with HEDD's Mk2 line of features that make it sound stunning. Included is a combination of a 7" honeycomb composite woofer, 4" midrange driver, and a HEDD Air Motion Transformer tweeter. The 32-bit/96kHz AD/DA conversion preserves the subtle details of your sound across its 32Hz–40kHz range. HEDD's linearizer technology adds a slight delay to high-frequency content to help correct phase alignment to improve spatialization and performance.

Use the desk filter to match the monitor's response to its placement on your desk relative to the mixing console. The high and low shelving filters offer +/-4dB of boost or cut to the monitor to sculpt the sound. HEDD included the option of either a closed, infinite baffle or open bass reflex port with a switch and port plug to suit your needs.
