Gieskes Klok
Keep time in your modular rig with the infinitely wacky and wonderfully clacky Klok from Gieskes. Rather than spitting forth mere square wave pulses at regular intervals, Klok takes the modular clock to its logical clock-clusion. An analog clock element sits behind the panel, delivering both ticks and tocks via an embedded piezo microphone for use as an audio source in your system. The left potentiometer controls the volume of this signal, which is produced at the leftmost jack.
To ensure well-crafted clock tones galore, the signal is processed through a low pass gate, which can be triggered by the second jack and enabled with the small button just above it. At the center jack, an external input allows for mixing another signal into the gate, with volume controlled by the center knob. Finally, an onboard LFO can advance the clock when the gate is not enabled, and offers separate outputs for square and near-triangle shapes, with speed controlled by the right knob. Sure to offer oddball percussion, raucous ratchets, and yet another reason for your cat to be obsessed with your synth rig, Gieskes' Klok ensures you'll never be late to the Eurorack party again.
