4Relay from Gieskies is a gate-activated acoustic percussion module, drumming up plucks, pings, and other Kalimba-esque gestures by actuating acoustic materials with electronic relay switches. Each of the four channels are identical, except for their implements and sounding materials, the latter of which can be swapped out via the onboard screw terminals. Similarly, the soldered-on implements can be bent and manipulated to experiment with new sounds and materials.

The acoustic sounds of each channel are amplified internally and sent to the audio output for further processing within your Eurorack system. In addition to gate inputs for each channel, 4Relay includes a CV input for controlling output volume. Great for generating unique percussion sounds and getting hands-on with your sounding materials, 4Relay from Gieskies is a robotic musical companion like no other.
