Putting the power of modulation under your fingers (literally), Gamechanger Audio's AUTO Delay Pedal derives control signals from your playing and offers them in a patchable interface to create dynamic and lively echo effects. Inspired by modular synthesis approaches, the AUTO Series pedals feature a patch bay to physically connect control signals to pedal parameters. These pedals also feature the unique ability to extract not only amplitude-based signals from your instrument but also pitch analysis for note-based control over the effects. So unlike traditional LFOs which produce endlessly repeating, cyclical modulations, the sounds of AUTO Delay can be entirely shaped by the instruments you feed into it.

AUTO Delay boasts three different types of delay that can be selected with the mode switch: Tape, Analog (BBD), and Digital. The four primary controls, Level, Time, Feedback, and Tone, offer you the ability to set the baseline for your delays, but by making use of the patch connections you can create a variety of unique echo effects. Ducked delays can be created by patching Dynamics into the Level control, or try using the Pitch source to change the Tone or intensity of Feedback based on the notes you play. Fine-tune the influence of any modulation source with the smaller knobs below each parameter—mod signals can affect any parameter positively or negatively, based on the base knob position.

In addition to supporting both mono and stereo signals with TS or TRS cables, you can set the internal gain of AUTO Delay to accommodate instrument, line, or Eurorack level signals. Track Input and Output allow you to cascade the dry signal across multiple AUTO Series pedals, or get creative and set up complex sidechain-like relationships and route the dry signal elsewhere. To lock in the pedal with the tempo of your music, the flexible MIDI/CLK input accepts a variety of signals to lock in the delay times with other devices.
