Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 4th Gen

The Scarlett 18i20 by Focusrite is an audio interface festooned with eight of their legendary mic preamps, RedNet converters, and tons of connectivity. Built for any studio application from professional to project, you get two front-mounted combo jacks for easy access, along with eight rear-mounted combo jacks, all of which have their own mic preamps with an outrageous 69dB of gain, plenty for even quieter mics. Switch on the Inst mode and select jacks engage a Hi-Z gain stage so you can directly plug in your guitar or bass. Route to anything in your studio thanks to the ten built-in line outputs and if that isn't enough, expand your reality with the digital I/O allowing up to 20 ins and 18 outs. MIDI I/O thanks to the 2 full size 5-pin MIDI jacks means you don't have to fumble with converters or external MIDI hubs.

Powered by an onboard DSP working in conjunction with the Focusrite Control 2 software and app, you get access to the redesigned AIR setting that offers classic studio console collaboration for a unique sonic footprint. With no less than six internal mixers, you can route your audio signal to any of the outputs or create headphone-specific mixes. Audio quality is of no concern with AD/DA converters that can record up to 24-bit 192kHz boasting an impressive 120dB dynamic range. New Safe Clipping and Auto Gain modes are perfect for protecting your audio inputs from accidental volume mishaps.
