Focusrite's ISA828 MkII allows you to add eight channels of clean, warm, transformer-based preamps to your studio for a remarkable price. Suitable for mic, line, and instrument-level signals, this preamp is a perfect way to get clean, clear sound from virtually any source into your converters.

The ISA828 MkII features line and mic inputs for each channel on the rear of the panel, as well as instrument inputs for the first four channels on the front panel. The transformer-based design uses Lundahl LL1538s on input, so you're guaranteed to get clean, characterful sound no matter the source. It even offers selectable input impedance for helping to best match your source sound—even including the classic ISA 110 setting. And of course, switchable phase inversion, highpass filter, and phantom power on each channel means that this powerhouse of a preamp is ready for anything you can throw at it.

The ISA828 MkII uses a standard DB-25 connector for its analog output, making it perfect for pairing with Pro Tools HD setups, patch bays, or many A/D converters. Or, of course, you can optionally pair the ISA828 with Focusrite's own ISA ADN8 A-D card (available separately) in order to add ADAT, AES3, Dante, and Word Clock connectivity.
