Focusrite's Clarett family just got larger with the new and improved Clarett 8Pre+, a brilliant audio interface providing eight stunning microphone preamps and multiple types of I/O for any variety of small to large recording setups. Showcasing eight combo XLR and 1/4" inputs, the 8Pre+ is equeipped to record microphone, line, or instrument level signals—making it fantastic for those tracking bands, drums, or any multi-instrument setup. Each of the microphone inputs comes paired with switchable, all-analog Air circuitry, taken from Focusrite's famous ISA preamplifiers. Plug your guitar or bass in for a clean and genuine tone color; the Hi-Z JFET instrument inputs imitate the transparent and wide frequency span of your typical guitar amplifiers. These features are sure to bring clarity and precision to your recordings with a professional sheen.

Clarett 8Pre+ improves upon its independent A-D and D-A converters for immaculate recordings with even lower noise and lower distortion. The completely new D-A convertor provides an increased dynamic range of 124dB, allowing you to hear subtleties in your mixes like you've never heard before. Eight upgraded line level outputs empowers your workflow to reference an extra set of monitors, process your signals with outboard gear, and even set up extra headphone cues.
