The 4XXX from Feedback Modules is a true-stereo bus compressor, bringing the sheen of classic British glue-style bus compression into any Eurorack patch. It features all the essential controls you need for applying that extra layer of shimmering polish to your sound: Threshold with VU LEDs for monitoring gain reduction, Input level, Make-Up gain, Ratio, Attack, and Release time. The Attack control gives you access to .1, .3, 1, 3, 10 and 30 second ranges, while Release gives you .1, .3, .6, .8, 1.2 second ranges, as well as an Auto-Release feature, allowing you to create release shapes based on the signal flowing into the module. The 4XXX also includes a Make-Up gain CV input, giving you the ability to modulate your sound's dynamics even further when paired with other modules in your rack. This level of control lets you "glue" a mix together, while simultaneously allowing you to morph and move compression settings along with your patch. The Sidechain Send and Return jacks allow you to dabble in all the madness sidechain compression can offer, whether that's affecting how the compression will be applied to the signal via the Stereo Inputs, or injecting the dynamics of drums directly into your compressed signal path for instant rhythmic movement.
