Empress Effects' Heavy Menace is an evolution of their Heavy pedal which brings you the same sound with more versatility in a smaller package. Choose between three different flavors of heavy: Lite(ish), Heavy, and Heavier to fine tune the amount of sonic destruction you'd like to achieve. Further sculpt your sound with a built-in 3-band EQ for Low, Mid, and High with an adjustable Mid frequency.

Adjust your distortion with a unique Weight control that adjusts a high pass filter. Combined with an Adaptive Gate that lets you get fast chugs and long decays thanks to the envelope followers built into the circuit. Heavy Menace is adaptable and gorgeous sounding, perfect for any style of music.
