Dubbed “the finest distortion/sustain ever” by its manufacturer, the Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi brings all the best aspects of the Big Muff Pi from the ‘70s into a distinctly modern context. This distortion/sustainer pedal features three front panel controls for fine-tuning its distortion and sustain parameters. The Volume control presides over the output level, the Sustain control blends the long sustain with ample amounts of harmonic distortion, and the Tone control kicks the sound anywhere from warm to crisp.
