A beefed-up version of the beloved 90's Civil War Big Muff, the Sovtek Deluxe Big Muff Pi uses the same circuit and adds advanced controls for sonic sculpting. As is expected, you have the classic Volume, Tone, Sustain controls, but you also get a Blend for dialing in the right amount of wet/dry, a Mids EQ section, and a built-in noise gate. Additionally, a Wicker switch lets you add high frequency content for a brighter sound.

Using the two controls for Mids—Level and Freq—you can get really distinct tones, plus there's an expression pedal input that lets you sweep the frequency and with the switchable Q setting, you can have a nearly Wah sound.
