At the core of the Nano Metal Muff is the same wildly over-driven distortion control for decimating any signal that passes through it. The extreme range of sonic shaping capabilities in the three-band EQ section allows you to boost or cut up 10dB for the treble band, 14dB for the mid band, and 15dB for the bass band. Unlike the original Metal Muff, the Nano does not have a top boost;however, unique to the Nano Metal Muff, the Gate feature allows you to cut any hum or noise floor from ringing out farther than you want based on where you set the threshold. Great for riffing your metal heart out or utter sonic destruction, the Nano Metal Muff from Electro-Harmonix is a great addition for that metal edge.
