Building on their robust pitch shifting effect selections, Electro-Harmonix's Intelligent Harmony Machine gives you both polyphonic pitch shifting and diatonically accurate harmonies. In the first mode, you set your key using the control knob and with the #/- switch you have access to all 12 keys. Then you can choose one of the 11 different harmony options, with the last being three triads and having inversions available via a long-press of the Poly-Override button. The second mode is the Polyphonic Override Mode, which gives you behavior similar to the Pitch Fork. In this mode the Key doesn't matter and you can play single notes, as well as chords. You can also engage a momentary option that sweeps the pitch with a press of the footswitch with the volume knob giving you control for the length of the sweep. In a small size and with the ability to run off of a 9v battery, the Intelligent Harmony Machine is a great, multi-faceted pitch pedal pal.
